About the Journal

Avant-garde: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Seni Pertunjukan, published by Universitas Negeri Padang, is a forum for channeling thoughts and disseminating knowledge related to the performing arts (drama, dance, and music) and their learning in the form of research articles, iterature reviews, case studies, and other conceptual articles.

The editors accept manuscripts that have never been published in other media from researchers, lecturers, students, and performing arts practitioners with the writing requirements listed on the Author Guidelines page. Submitted manuscripts will be evaluated and edited for uniformity of format, terms, and other procedures.

Avant-garde: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Seni Pertunjukan is published regularly, three times a year, in February, June, and October. Manuscripts can be submitted at any time and will be published in the next period.
