Vol. 1 No. 2 (2023)Thank God, on April 28, 2023, BRIN published the ISSN for Avant-garde: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Seni Pertunjukan. Starting from the issue of Volume 1, Number 2, Year 2023, the Avant-Garde Journal has included ISSN 2986-6546 (online) in the upper right corner of the journal's page. Our team of editors hopes that the Avant-Garde journal can maintain the consistency of publication, which has been announced three times a year, of course with the help of academics and researchers who are willing to submit their articles to our journal for publication. Finally, we would like to thank the academics and researchers who have contributed their articles for publication in Volume 1, Number 1, in 2023.

Vol. 1 No. 1 (2023)With great gratitude to God Almighty, we, the editorial team of the avant-garde journal, are happy to be able to publish the premiere of Volume 1 Number 1 of 2023. We hope that this journal can become one of the journals that becomes a reference for the world of education, especially in the field of performing arts education. We invite students, teachers, lecturers, researchers, and performing arts practitioners to participate and contribute by sending research and other writings so that we can publish them in the next issue.
