POPULARITAS SANGGAR SENI KAJANG LAKO DI NAGARI KOTO BARU KECAMATAN KOTO BARU KABUPATEN DHARMASRAYA: DITINJAU MANAJEMEN SENI PERTUNJUKAN

This study aims to reveal and describe the management applied by the Kajang Lako Art Studio to become popular and the strategies used by the Kajang Lako Art Studio to dominate the market. This type of research is qualitative using a descriptive method. The research instrument is the researcher themselves, assisted by supporting instruments such as stationery and a smartphone. Data is collected through literature review, observation, interviews, and documentation. The steps in analysing the data are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusion. The results show that the Kajang Lako Art Studio uses a democratic system where all decisions are made through deliberation, and decisions and agreements are reached collectively, with all processes carried out as best as possible. The performance system of the Kajang Lako Art Studio and its working style are categorised as a professional performance system because it manages well in terms of function and process. Kajang Lako Art Studio's management includes 1) Planning, deciding who is involved and will be involved in an activity, scheduling and arranging regular practice sessions, and preparing everything related to the activity. 2) Organizing, an organization formed based on personal connections through shared interests and hobbies. 3) Motivation, providing guidance and direction to work together effectively. 4) Supervision, conducted by the leadership of Kajang Lako Art Studio and assisted by the parties cooperating with the Ministry of Culture.
